Wellness Coordinator,
a member of the interdisciplinary team, to provide and support others in providing normalized, empathic, therapeutic, and preventative health care to children with severe and persistent behavioral health issues within a school or residential setting. While the Wellness Coordinator will have primary responsibility to work in either the school or the residential program, they will fill-in and support in the other area as needed. The Wellness Coordinator administers medications and treatments, monitors each child's physical and psychological status; and facilitates medical follow up as needed. The Wellness Coordinator provides education related to each child's individualized health care needs and promotes client independence.
The Wellness Coordinator practices within the scope of Pennsylvania's Nurse Practice Act and in accordance with Elwyn's policies and procedures and those of Elwyn's regulatory agencies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: In a school setting:
