Position Highlights Bass Medical One 16261 Bass Road, Fort Myers, FL 33908 Department: HOD Cardiology Bass Road PRN \| Flexible Schedule MondayFriday \| 8:00 AM4:30 PM $39.78/hour Primarily Work From Home! Opportunity to support device clinics in the Fort Myers & Cape Coral areas PRN hours are flexible and may range from just a few hours to a full 8-hour day, MondayFriday, based on department needs. What You'll Do Your primary responsibility will be remote cardiac device monitoring and report processing. A typical day may include working from home and: Reviewing cardiac device reports received from the four major manufacturer platforms Processing remote cardiac device data Reviewing and interpreting device information and cardiac rhythms Compiling comprehensive patient summaries Documenting findings in the PaceMate Live database Troubleshooting and programming implanted cardiac devices as needed Supporting device clinics in the Fort Myers and Cape Coral areas Collaborating with physicians and other members of the care team Providing a safe, professional, and positive patient experience Who We're Looking For We're specifically seeking someone with hands-on cardiac device experience, including: At least 1 year of experience working in a cardiac device clinic OR working as a cardiac device/pacemaker manufacturer representative The ideal candidate will also have: Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills Experience reviewing remote cardiac device transmissions Ability to work independently while managing a remote workload Strong attention to detail and clinical documentation skills Comfort working with cardiac device manufacturer platforms Willingness and ability to occasionally cover device clinics in Fort Myers and Cape Coral Requirements Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Diploma, Associates, or Bachelors degree in a health science field preferred, including cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, nursing, or a related discipline Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a device clinic or in the field for a cardiac device manufacturer preferred Candidates with at least 1 year of cardiac device clinic or manufacturer representative experience are encouraged to apply New graduates of a recognized cardiac device management training program, such as PrepMD, ATI, or similar, may be considered Certifications BLS (American Heart Association) required CCDS through IBHRE preferred within 3 years of hire Licensure RCIS or RN preferred Additional Skills Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation Familiarity with cardiac device software such as PaceArt preferred Strong computer and organizational skills Join Lee Health and put your cardiac device expertise to work!
