CyQu Marketplace Analyst

The CyQu Marketplace Analyst will report directly to the CyQu Marketplace Leader to assist in the growth and expansion of the Cyber Technology Marketplace at Aon. They will provide market intelligence, perform competitor evaluations, and deliver data-driven insights that guide Marketplace strategy, identify growth opportunities, and improve Aon's global cyber offering.

This is a hybrid role based in our New York, NY or Chicago, IL office.

What the day will look like

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis on cybersecurity providers, emerging technologies, cyber risk trends, and insurance market developments to support Marketplace strategy.
• Support day-to-day Marketplace operations through project management and business analysis activities, including tracking deliverables, documenting requirements, managing timelines, and ensuring operational tasks are clearly defined and implemented.
• Analyze Marketplace performance, broker adoption, provider utilization, and business metrics to identify trends, measure success, and develop strategic recommendations.
• Develop executive-level insights, dashboards, presentations, and reporting that support data-driven decision making and communicate Marketplace performance.
• Evaluate new provider categories, strategic partnerships, and growth opportunities based on market demand, client needs, and underwriting priorities.
• Collaborate closely with the CyQu Marketplace Leader and cross-functional collaborators to support central initiatives, business planning, and Marketplace expansion.
• Gather and synthesize broker, carrier, provider, and client feedback to find opportunities to enhance Marketplace offerings and improve the overall user experience.
• Develop strategic content, market intelligence, and thought leadership materials that enable brokers to effectively position the CyQu Marketplace with clients.
• Monitor the evolving cybersecurity, technology, and insurance landscape to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and innovations that strengthen Aon's Marketplace strategy.
• Identify chances to apply AI, automation, and new technologies to improve research, business intelligence, reporting, and strategic decision support.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• 3+ years of validated experience in business strategy, market research, business analysis, consulting, cyber insurance, cybersecurity, financial services, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrating the capacity to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated skill in supporting the development of executive-level presentations, dashboards, reports, and cases for multiple collaborators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven track record to handle several priorities and work optimally in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning about cybersecurity, emerging technologies, insurance, and evolving market trends.
• Experience bringing to bear AI-enabled tools to improve research, analysis, reporting, and efficiency is strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $84,755 - $110,170 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
