Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Concert Hall in Boston MA

Monday, Tuesday 11 PM - 7 AM, Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM and Saturday, Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a renowned cultural institution where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while staying agile, reliable, and innovative throughout each shift.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, staff, performers, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, lobbies, entrances, galleries, performance spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with checking credentials, directing foot traffic, and/or observing deliveries and contractor activity in accordance with location policies.
• Support crowd management during events, performances, and/or special programs by helping with line control, wayfinding, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and unusual behavior to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
