Security Officer - Corporate Property Patrol

As a Security Officer - Corporate Property Patrol in La Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, people-first culture built on teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while bringing an agile and innovative approach to each shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, report maintenance or life-related concerns to the appropriate contacts, and support orderly operations during routine and after-hours periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
