Job Description




As a Security Officer Hospital Corridor Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Our unarmed officers in this healthcare location monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, urgent situations, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and support staff, patients, and guests with directions and general assistance.
  • Complete routine reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • This position may require working in and/or around a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals, as needed, in a hospital environment.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
