As a Security Officer Credential Processing in COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry activity, monitor assigned areas, and support a professional, welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, badges, credentials, and/or visitor logs to help control authorized access to the facility, production areas, and other restricted locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support screening and entry procedures for personnel, contractors, and/or deliveries while following site protocols related to food and beverage operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
