You're the face of Northwest. As a Relationship Banker, you bring the customer experience to life, creating meaningful connections in every interaction and financial conversation. Essential Functions

  • Be a trusted point of connection in the financial center, creating seamless customer experiences.

  • Partner with teammates to maintain a welcoming, customer-ready environment.

  • Ask purposeful questions and listen deeply to uncover meaningful financial goals.

  • Provide guidance that helps customers make informed financial decisions.

  • Guide customers through account selection and opening with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Recommend products and services that support customers' financial goals.

  • Complete transactions with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.

  • Deepen relationships through proactive follow-up, reliability, and personalized service.

  • Build new relationships through community involvement, referrals, and networking opportunities.

  • Manage and grow customer relationships through proactive outreach and ongoing financial conversations.

  • Connect customers with Mortgage, Business Banking, Wealth, and other specialized partners.

  • Meet performance goals related to customer experience, growth, and financial wellness.

  • Maintain operational soundness by following policies, procedures, and risk management practices.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support financial center operations.

  • Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations

  • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency

  • Work as part of a team

  • Work with on-site equipment

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred

  • Customer experience & relationship building - delivering a people-first experience that puts customer needs first,

  • Consultative selling - uncovering needs and connecting customers to the right solutions,

  • Financial acumen - understanding customer needs and aligning solutions to support financial goals,

  • Communication & active listening - building trust through clear, meaningful conversations,

  • Relationship management - strengthening customer relationships through proactive engagement and follow-up,

  • Business development & networking - building relationships through referrals, community involvement, and outreach,

  • Ownership & initiative - taking action and following through to support the customer experience,

  • Attention to detail - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence,

  • Problem solving - resolving customer needs with confidence, ownership, and care,

  • System confidence - effectively navigating banking systems and tools,

  • Collaboration - partnering with teammates and specialists to deliver seamless customer experiences
