About The Role

The Sales Development Representative plays a dual role on our growing sales team: driving adoption of Togetherwork's integrated payments solution across our existing customer base, and generating new business for our SMB products. You'll work across both inbound and outbound motions - identifying customers not yet using our payments solution, upselling new payments features, and prospecting net-new opportunities in the SMB market.To be successful in this role, you should have experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, cold calling and emailing, and meeting sales quotas. If you are motivated, results-driven, and excited to sell a product with a clear value proposition embedded in software customers already use, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do



  • Drive adoption of Togetherwork's integrated payments solution by identifying and engaging existing customers who are not currently using it
  • Upsell new payments features and capabilities to existing customers, partnering with Account Executives and Customer Success to expand revenue within the base
  • Generate net-new pipeline for SMB products through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and email outreach to ideal customer profile accounts
  • Find creative ways to engage prospects and potential buyers that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective and existing clients and internal Account Executives
  • Knowledgeably discuss Togetherwork's Associations and SMB products with potential and existing clients (training provided)


What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years in a client-facing sales role, including at least 1 year in enterprise software sales
  • At least 2 years of experience with CRM software
  • Familiarity with payments, fintech, or financial software is a plus - but not required
  • Self-motivated, a quick learner, and competitive
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Comfortable working across both new business (outbound prospecting) and expansion (upsell) motions
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic


Preferred



  • Previous experience with Salesforce
  • Experience in a product-led growth or expansion sales environment
  • Background selling payments, fintech, or embedded financial products
