Registered Nurse (RN) - Duke Urgent Care Hillsborough Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission ofAdvancing Health Together. Duke Urgent Care Hillsborough provides prompt, compassionate care for patients of all ages with minor injuries and illnesses, including sprains, cuts, flu symptoms, and infections. The clinic also offers sports physicals, limited employment physicals, and routine vaccinations. The team operates in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure setting, while maintaining a close-knit, collaborative environment. This team fosters a culture of open communication, professional growth, and mutual support. Location:267 S Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278 Hours:8am - 8pm Schedule: Three 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends, including holidays What You Will Do As a Clinical Nurse III, you'll deliver advanced, patient-centered care while serving as a clinical leader, mentor, and advocate for excellence within your unit. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license, influence patient care outcomes, support the development of fellow nurses, and contribute to initiatives that advance nursing practice across the organization. Exception: Registered Nurses hired between July 1, 2014, and April 11, 2021, without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and complete the program within seven years of hire. Registered Nurses hired before July 1, 2014, are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job classification. Experience
