Initiatives in STEM (iSTEM): The Center for Initiatives in iSTEM (iSTEM) was created with a core mission to promote and enhance College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) and College of Sciences (COS) collaborative efforts on STEM education and educational research by developing partnerships with other colleges, centers, and institutes on campus, as well as other stakeholders with a similar interest in STEM initiatives. To position UCF in Florida and nationally as a hub for STEM education, iSTEM has three areas of emphasis to improve the pipeline and produce a better STEM workforce: Undergraduate Student Success, K-12 outreach and Faculty Collaboration. The Opportunity: The Academic Support Coordinator II will be responsible to the iSTEM Executive Director and Director of Math Launch. The individual selected will coordinate and manage a variety of activities in support of the Center's educational and research efforts specifically related to Math Launch and other STEM undergraduate student programs. The coordinator will handle the daily administrative duties of Math Launch while maintaining a student facing role with specialized advising and progression tracking within the program. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
