| Position Summary |
The Repository (Off-site) Services Coordinator is responsible to the Libraries High Density Storage Manager for performing a variety of tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the Libraries' Repository Building. The Repository is a high density storage facility located off campus in which more than 1.2 million items are shelved by size utilizing the storage inventory management database CaiaSoft. This position requires a high level of collaboration with other Libraries Units including User Services, Cataloging, Facilities, Records Management, and Collections. This position is responsible for accessioning incoming materials, circulation of pieces for patrons and document delivery, space assessment, and maintaining accurate records in CaiaSoft. The role collaborates with the User Services Unit to manage and troubleshoot issues with scanning equipment for electronic document delivery. The Repository Services Coordinator supervises and trains full-time, non-exempt staff and student assistants.
Work will be performed in a warehouse environment with rolling staircases, ladders, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts. Work will primarily take place in the
UGA Libraries off-campus storage facility known as the Repository, located in Athens, GA at the intersections of Whitehall Road and Milledge Avenue. Depending on need, the position may occasionally work from other library buildings, namely the Special Collections Libraries.

Manages daily operations of the Libraries Repository including ongoing projects of shelving, circulation, densifying stacks, transferring of materials from other Libraries facilities, and space planning. Coordinates delivery of physical items to Library facilities and scanning of materials for electronic delivery.
Maintains up to date accession and circulation statistics in CaiaSoft, collaborates with the Cataloging Unit to ensure accurate records in the Libraries' Alma catalog, and runs reports to make data-driven decisions. Maintains and updates workflow documentation.
Meet regularly with appropriate library stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects meet service needs and expectations.
