From your PASSION to ours:

Summary: All aspects of building and grounds maintenance, to include but not limited to: pipe insulation, plumbing, painting, industrial floor repairs, wall repairs, demolition and construction of structures (within reasonable limits), building wiring as applicable, grounds upkeep, roof repairs, and other related work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

1.\tPainting of buildings and related equipment as needed.

2.\tAbilities in carpentry.

3.\tAbilities in masonry.

4.\tPerforms all small utility jobs as deemed necessary to support proper building maintenance.

5.\tRemove snow in designated areas in winter months.

6.\tSummer month's grounds upkeep: trimming of shrubbery, mowing lawns, and policing of all foreign materials.

7.\tKnowledge of some of the maintenance routines.

8.\tAware of and practice Plant's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Plant Safety Programs.

9.\tAbility to do floor repairs using modern epoxy technology.

10.\tRecommends and/or suggests any changes/additions to GMP's and Plant Safety Programs.

11.\tUpholds all rules pertaining to confidentiality of information regarding Lactalis products and recipes.

12.\tPerforms other work duties as requested by the Maintenance Manager.

13.\tAttend departmental meetings and in-services as required.

14.\tPerforms all duties according to safety standards and as required to ensure the general safety of all other staff.

Requirements

Qualifications:

*\tAttention to detail and accuracy in work required.

*\tAbility to plan work and work independently is very important.

*\tSome trade schooling preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

*\tHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

*\tPrevious industrial building & grounds preferred.

*\tValid Driver's License required.
