Software Product Owner (PO)

Avion Solutions Inc., a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Software Product Owner (PO) to support PAE Fires. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).

• Responsible for the prioritization and validation of the network application development and updates/patches for the Network Application Team (NAT).

• Review Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and guide the development team.

• Support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and be responsible for their verification.

• Responsible for working with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network.

• Work with program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint.

• Will perform technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership, and status reports, recommend courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.

• Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

• Must have a good understanding of networking to include IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, networking device configuration, and network status monitoring.

• Will have a broad understanding of SNMPv3.

• Must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers to meet deadlines and program objectives.

• Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoW security clearance.

• Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with JIRA/Confluence, Security+, and Linux.

• Agilist certification.
