The Occupational Therapist II provide occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment, follow up and documentation using general competencies for inpatients and/or outpatients referred to the OT department. Provides guidance for occupational therapy intern students and therapy aides/assistants with specific patients or tasks. Provides continuous consultation and education to families. The Occupational Therapist II successfully fulfills the requirements of a specified area or completes and maintains the Career Advancement Program (CAP), demonstrating both excellence in job performance and on-going contributions in service, education and research, and professional development and leadership. Position on the pediatric hand therapy team, treating hand and upper extremity conditions. CHT is preferred but not required. Experience in hand and upper extremity conditions/injuries required. This position has been defined and is governed by the Children's Hospital Colorado Medical Staff bylaws, continuation of employment is contingent upon the review and approval of the Colorado Health Care Professionals Credential Application within 3 months of employment. Failure to successfully pass the credentialing process may result in the termination of your employment. Such positions include: Advanced Practice Providers, licensed professional counselors, or Adjunct Medical Staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
