Electrical and Computer Engineering Job Description
The Visiting Scholar will conduct fundamental research in the modeling and optimization of power distribution networks (PDNs). The research will include a comprehensive investigation of foundational PDN modeling principles, methodologies, and computational techniques. Particular emphasis will be placed on evaluating existing modeling approaches and developing improved methods to enhance computational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. The developed and refined modeling techniques will subsequently be applied to the advancement of PDN optimization methodologies. The Visiting Scholar will investigate strategies for integrating accurate and computationally efficient models into optimization frameworks to improve PDN design, performance, and reliability. The research is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of PDN behavior and support the development of more effective design and optimization techniques. Qualifications
Currently working towards a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering Application Materials
