UCLA Health's Department of Pediatrics ranks among the world's elite institutions for pediatric research, teaching and clinical care. The Digital Communications Manager supports the Department's internal and external communications strategy and is responsible for development and implementation of communications content across digital modalities. They will create, update, and revise content for the Department, including but not limited to website graphic design and format, social media content, and video production/editing. They will also serve as the liaison between the Department and UCLA Health Marketing & Communications, UCLA Health Media Relations, and UCLA Health Sciences Development Office, with a dotted line reporting relationship to UCLA Health Marketing & Communications. Salary Range: $78,500.00 - $163,600.00 Annually
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of
education and experience. - Minimum 5+ years of related experience or training.
- Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of design and user
experience, including skill to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way. - Thorough understanding of technical language and
requirements of the assigned work. Required - Thorough knowledge of content management systems and / or
relevant web applications used for web production and organization-specific computer application programs. - Thorough skills to create clear, easy-to-navigate,
informative, accurate, well-designed, and - functional web sites that provide web content consistent
with the organization's message and in keeping with management directives and client objectives. - Thorough understanding of organization's processes,
procedures, and applicable rules and regulations for web communication. - Thorough understanding of organization's processes,

- Thorough technical skills in computer applications for web
production, image handling, publishing and design, illustration, presentation and preparation, animation, web interaction, and / or other state-of-the-art web communication capabilities. - Thorough interpersonal communication skills.
