What is the role about? Endress + Hauser Conducta is looking for an Electromechanical Assembler to join our growing Anaheim team. In this role, you will perform detailed sub-assembly for Memosens pH/ORP sensor products, with a strong focus on precision soldering of wires, contacts, and connectors, along with mechanical assembly, encapsulation, inspection, and testing to ensure a high-quality finished product. Which tasks will you perform? You will:
- Perform precision soldering of wires, contacts, and connectors for electro-mechanical pH/ORP sensor subassemblies.
- Assemble small mechanical and electrical components including wires, seals, housings, contacts, and sensor subassemblies using hand tools and fixtures.
- Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures to complete subassembly builds accurately and consistently.
- Prepare and route wires and components, ensuring correct placement, polarity, and connection integrity.
- Mix and apply epoxies, silicones, or other encapsulation materials to protect solder joints and electrical connections.
- Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship, solder quality, and conformance to specifications.
- Record completed operations and production data in SAP.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and support continuous improvement activities as needed.
What do we expect from you? You:
- High School Diploma and/or GED required
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical, electronics, or precision assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong soldering skills are required, including the ability to create clean, reliable solder joints on small wires, contacts, and connectors.
- Experience assembling sensor products, cable assemblies, or other small electromechanical devices is preferred.
- Knowledge of safe manufacturing practices and proper handling of tools, materials, and chemicals used in assembly.
- Knowledge of soldering, de-soldering, wire preparation, and basic rework techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, assembly drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for handling small components and producing consistent, high-quality work.
- Ability to meet daily production goals while maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance with standard work.
The hourly range for this full-time position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The base pay that is offered for this position will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity. Bonuses or long-term incentives may be presented in addition to the compensation package. Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to maximum 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods during inspections.
