Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical training in manufacturing, machining, metrology, quality assurance, or related fields preferred. Ongoing training opportunities available, including GD&T, CMM operation, PCDMIS, PPAP, and ISO quality systems. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply and grow into advanced quality roles. Experience Requirements Entry-Level Quality Inspector: No prior quality experience required; manufacturing experience is a plus. Quality Inspector: Experience using inspection tools, gauges, blueprint reading, and GD&T preferred. Quality Technician: Experience operating CMM equipment, interpreting reports, troubleshooting quality issues, and supporting production teams. Senior Quality Technician: Advanced CMM programming, PCDMIS, PPAP, corrective actions, quality systems, supplier audits, and customer quality support experience required. Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills required for all levels. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, and handle materials, parts, and inspection equipment. Ability to perform repetitive inspections and maintain focus on detailed measurements. Visual ability to identify defects, read blueprints, gauges, and inspection reports. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Job Duties Perform in-process, first-piece, and final quality inspections using precision measuring equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, and quality specifications. Set up, calibrate, operate, and program CMM equipment based on role level. Maintain quality records, inspection reports, scrap documentation, and corrective action records. Support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, PPAP processes, ISO compliance, and customer quality requirements. Train and mentor team members while helping maintain product quality and manufacturing excellence.
