We are seeking a Staff Scientist to join the Innovative Research for Empowering Activity and Community Health (InREACH) research team, led by Principal Investigator Jason Mendoza, MD, MPH, in the Public Health Sciences Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. The Staff Scientist will support the ongoing work of studies focused on the cultural adaptation of behavioral interventions for Hispanic/Latino populations related to physical activity and cancer survivorship. The Staff Scientist will also support related work in general populations of cancer survivors, including patients undergoing cancer therapy, as well as extensions of this work in people living with diabetes. Responsibilities The Staff Scientist will be responsible for the implementation of physical activity behavioral interventions, measurement of 24-hour movement outcomes, measurement of socio-cultural factors, as well as the application of qualitative methods to triangulate quantitative results for ongoing studies. The annual base salary range for this position is from $84,406 to $191,755, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
