Position Title: Accountant II Job Category: Academic Staff Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Accountant II Job Duties: Reporting to the Divisional Finance Officer for the College of Health Professions and Sciences, this position provides broad division-level financial support focusing on budget development, management and reporting, accounts payable and receivable management, post award research support and reporting, and fund management. This position processes, reviews, and approves, and advises on a variety of complex financial transactions according to university and state policies and procedures. Maintains financial records, provides administrative processing support, and provides customer service for faculty and staff to support divisional financial management. Recommends controls and process improvements and troubleshoots complex financial errors. Work will be performed primarily on the UW-Milwaukee campus. Hybrid work options may be considered with requests for remote work considered after the initial training period. Key Job Responsibilities:
Department: College of Health Professions and Sciences - CHPS Business Office Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is expected to be $61,200-$73,000. The final offer will be contingent upon the knowledge, skills, and abilities demonstrated throughout the selection process. Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or Bachelor's Degree with demonstrated work experience in Accounting and Financial Analysis.
