If you enjoy analyzing complex financial profiles and interacting with our private banking clients, this is the right opportunity for you! The Private Banking Department provides the Bank's products and services to high-net-worth individuals in a highly personalized, professional, and timely manner. The incumbent will underwrite all new loan/renewal applications and work with lenders to remedy underwriting issues. Candidate will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after successful training and supervisor approval.

Education and Experience Requirements:

*Bachelor's Degree required. Will consider commensurate experience.
*Three (3) years of experience underwriting consumer, or commercial loan applications .

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

*Good organizational/priority setting skills; ability to work on multiple tasks.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to learn the commercial loan system, products, services, policies and procedures.
*Ability to apply job knowledge and good judgment to problem solving/decision making situations.
*Attention to detail is a must.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM software, and loan documentation software.

Essential Functions:

*Obtain credit reports on all applications.
*Complete collateral analysis to verify it will support the loan/renewal request.
*Review all credit information and financial statement spreads.
*Prepare credit proposals including analysis and calculations necessary to assess transaction and viability of transaction.
*Assemble and compile the information necessary for renewal or review of credit facilities.
*Conduct underwriting and calculate cash flow of expired/matured loans and preparing credit proposals for renewal.
*Monitor expired insurance, missing loan documentation and financial information.
*Create and maintain credit files.
*Perform servicing and maintenance of accounts/relationships.
*Compose both internal and external correspondence.
*Perform other duties, as necessary.
*Work with other commercial departments on their portfolio management needs
*All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.
