Product Development Assistant - Casual Sleep

As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be instrumental in supporting the entire product lifecycle for our casual sleep category. Your work will ensure that every product development milestone is met, from initial concept tracking to final sample coordination. You'll contribute to maintaining accurate product information, streamlining communication across internal teams and external partners, and ultimately helping to deliver innovative and comfortable casual sleepwear to our customers. Your proactive approach and keen eye for detail will be crucial in driving projects forward and ensuring the timely execution of seasonal collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide essential day-to-day coordination support for product development activities.
• Assist in the development and meticulous tracking of prototype products within the casual sleep category.
• Accurately enter, maintain, and update product information within relevant systems.
• Coordinate and track product samples efficiently throughout the development process.
• Monitor development timelines to help ensure key milestones and deliverables remain on schedule.
• Create and update seasonal composite sheets, classification charts, and other vital product development documentation.
• Coordinate weekly updates to ensure product information is consistently accurate and communicated in a timely manner.
• Support the seamless communication of product development details across internal teams and external vendor partners.
• Assist with workflow management and proactively follow up on outstanding development needs.
• Partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of seasonal products.

Required Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with product information, data, systems, and detailed documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative, proactive, and willing to jump in wherever support is needed.
• Positive, can-do attitude and genuine enthusiasm for the brand and its products.
• Must be located in New York or the surrounding tri-state area and able to commute to the office as required for the hybrid schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Fashion, Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Previous product development, product design, fashion, merchandising, or related experience; recent graduates will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.
