Position Title: Assembler
Wage: $21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Assembler at a company in Kenosha, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now! Assembler Responsibilities: - Move panels around warehouse, accurately fill parts orders and label and palletize onto skids - Use drilling fixture or jigs to drill holes in panels - Install hardware: screws, nuts & bolts, windows, labels, aluminum retainer, L brackets, horizontal and side seal, etc. - Notify lead person of problems with levels on inventory and questions on jobs or assemblies - Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. - Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. - Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements Requirements for Assembler: - At least one year of assembly experience preferred - Ability to use a tape measurer with accuracy, experience with staple gun, wrenches, hammer, hand drills - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to read and understand drawings and written instructions related to panel assembly operations - Ability to stand for duration of shift - Ability to lift up to 50lbs - Ability to bend and twist throughout shift IND015 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
