Position Title: Float Machine Operator
Wage: $20.00 - $23.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:00pm - 1:00am (Monday - Thursday) We are seeking a motivated and dependable Float Machine Operator (In Training) to join our production team in Plover, WI. This role is designed for individuals with manufacturing machine operation experience who are interested in expanding their skills across multiple production areas and building a long-term career path within the organization. Starting in the Blend/Grind Department, this position will train in all aspects of production and sanitation operations, ultimately becoming proficient across multiple departments. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has demonstrated leadership potential and is interested in growing into a future supervisory role. Float Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards - Learn and perform production and sanitation processes across all departments - Train on multiple manufacturing systems and production lines to become a versatile "float" operator - Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and operate equipment according to established procedures - Perform quality checks and accurately document production data - Identify and communicate equipment, quality, or safety concerns - Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency goals - Safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products - Assist with raw material handling and product transfer activities as needed - Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements Requirements for Float Machine Operator: - At least one year of recent experience as a manufacturing machine operator, preferably in a lead operator or advanced operator role - Direct machine operation experience required - Forklift experience required - Positive and stable work history - Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, percentages, and fractions - Ability to identify differences in color shades and hues for quality control purposes - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and problem-solving skills IND050 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
