Position Title: Final Quality Inspector
Wage: $19.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm If you're the type of person who catches what others miss, this role is for you. Your keen eye for detail will directly impact customer satisfaction, product quality, and the success of our operation. The Final Quality Inspector in Stevens Point, WI is responsible for conducting final inspections on finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer and production requirements prior to shipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality standards and supporting an efficient flow of products through the manufacturing process. Final Quality Inspector Responsibilities: - Perform final inspections to verify product quality, accuracy, and order requirements - Review finished products against work orders, specifications, and documentation - Identify, document, and communicate product non-conformances to the appropriate teams - Complete inspection records and required quality documentation - Maintain efficient product flow from inspection to packaging and shipment - Follow established quality, safety, and operational procedures - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality-focused training - Collaborate with team members and leadership to address issues and improve processes - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Requirements for Final Quality Inspector: - Experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or another detail-oriented role - Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality - Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities - Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements - Ability to push, pull, and maneuver products throughout the workday - Ability to occasionally lift of up to 50 pounds - Ability to use measuring devices and perform detailed visual inspections - Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - Experience interpreting work orders, product specifications, or production documentation is a plus - Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control processes preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
