Position Title: Quality Inspector
Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:30pm - 11:00pm Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Quality Inspector at a company in Oak Creek, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply now! Quality Inspector Responsibilities: - Independently perform visual inspections and measurements of products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards - Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation - Identify and reject nonconforming materials or products according to established procedures - Participate in the investigation and resolution of quality issues - Follow established action plans when a nonconformance is identified - Utilize the Stop, Call, Wait, and Escalate process when recurring defects are identified - Communicate recurring quality concerns to supervisors and appropriate Quality team members - Participate in Tier meetings as needed to communicate quality concerns and support production goals - Work closely with Operators and the Quality team to address inspection findings and maintain quality standards - Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures Requirements for Quality Inspector: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least one year of experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment - Experience with Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or a similar manufacturing environment preferred - Basic computer skills - Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and manufacturing operations - Knowledge of IPC-A-610 inspection and acceptance criteria or another applicable standard, such as IPC-A-600 - Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and measurements - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or nonconforming materials - Ability to accurately document inspection results - Proficient verbal communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively with Operators, Supervisors, and Quality team members - Ability to follow established procedures and action plans - Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
