Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting inventory control operations through the accurate receipt, storage, movement, picking, and shipment of materials. This position helps ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient flow of products throughout the facility. Warehouse Associates may support shipping and receiving activities, warehouse material handling, inventory transactions, and management of secured inventory locations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials and products.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production and other departments as required.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Process shipping and receiving transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material identification, transactions, and stock rotation practices.
• Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventory activities.
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of warehouse and storage areas.
• Monitor and manage inventory within secured or restricted-access storage locations.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or shortages.
• Follow established procedures for material movement, storage, and inventory control.
• Comply with all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist with other inventory control and warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or material handling experience preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.
