Contract Data Management Specialist


Job Summary: Lafayette Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive consultant to help federal clients manage a portfolio of cybersecurity-related contracts within CISA's Cybersecurity Division (CSD). The ideal candidate excels in data management, contract oversight, and business intelligence, leveraging tools such as SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform to maintain accurate contract metadata, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights. This role also involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to enhance data quality, improve documentation standards, refine business processes, and develop clear, impactful reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist federal clients in overseeing a portfolio of cybersecurity-related contracts.
  • Maintain accurate contract metadata and monitor contract health to ensure visibility into contract performance and risks.
  • Collaborate with various subdivisions to enhance data freshness, validate data quality, and recommend improvements to existing tooling solutions.
  • Leverage SharePoint and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power BI) to support client data, reporting, and visualization needs.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis and communicate meaningful insights through dashboards and analytics products.
  • Support data management activities including organizing program documentation and improving documentation standardization.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and data management artifacts that convey progress, findings, and recommendations to clients.
  • Provide business intelligence support including data curation, BI artifact development, and management of BI deliverable lifecycles to improve accessibility of critical information.
  • Partner with program stakeholders to map, define, and review business processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements in data management systems and processes.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business analytics, information science, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in management consulting, data management, or federal program support.
  • Strong proficiency with SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), including using these tools to manage data, develop dashboards, and support reporting needs.
  • Proven ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, and communicate insights clearly through reports, presentations, and dashboards.
  • Experience maintaining structured documentation, standardizing artifacts, and supporting business process improvement efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government public trust or security clearance, if required.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting contract oversight, portfolio management, or program operations for federal clients.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence best practices, data governance, and lifecycle management of analytical products.
  • Experience supporting DHS or CISA programs, including familiarity with cybersecurity mission areas.
  • Knowledge of federal contract management, procurement processes, or acquisition frameworks.
  • Experience in government consulting or supporting multi-stakeholder federal program environments.
  • Existing DHS or CISA Entry on Duty (EOD), suitability, or security clearance.

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid, Onsite approximately 1-2 days per week)

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000

New employees are not usually hired at the top of the estimated salary range and salary decisions depend on the circumstances and factors for each case. Salary is only one aspect of LGI's generous total compensation package.

Federal Contracts: This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
