As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Issuance in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and help deter security-related incidents through a professional, visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support site operations with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while representing Allied Universal's caring, innovative culture.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a technology-focused construction location; verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe access-control systems, alarms, and communications equipment; report irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, work areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
