Summary: This senior-level role is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market opportunities through a consultative approach to business development and strategic relationship management. The position partners with clients, prospects, carriers, advisors, and internal teams to identify growth opportunities, strengthen business performance, and execute critical initiatives, while also providing leadership, coaching, and development to team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uses a consultative approach to identify, qualify, develop, and expand business opportunities.
• Leads business development activities with complex clients, prospects, and strategic partners.
• Develops and implements strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market opportunities, and improve business performance.
• Maintains and develops relationships with key client partners, prospects, carrier representatives, advisors, firms, and other industry partners.
• Establishes growth objectives, monitors results, and recommends strategic adjustments as needed.
• Meets established performance metrics related to revenue growth, business development activity, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborates across business lines to identify and develop opportunities that support organizational growth objectives.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends, competitive conditions, and market developments.
• Acts as a subject matter expert for company products, services, and growth strategies.
• Influences policy and may monitor teams or offices to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring, and development to team members.
• Participates in hiring, performance management, employee development, and succession planning activities.
• Develops and implements plans to increase revenue, improve operational effectiveness, and support business objectives.
• Exercises independent judgment on significant matters and is viewed as an authority within areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• Knowledge of insurance industry trends, carrier products and services, healthcare reform, and related market developments.
• Ability to develop business opportunities and build strong relationships with clients, prospects, carriers, advisors, and business partners.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs.
• Effective time management, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree in a related field desirable.
• 15+ years of directly related industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience driving revenue growth, business development initiatives, and strategic relationships.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and developing talent.

The base salary range for this position is $214,600 - $364,900. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
