Position Description |
Perimeter College is seeking limited-term instructors in
ENGLISH who will play a key role in educating and supporting students. Limited-term instructors must be available to teach some or all courses at one or more of the five campuses (Alpharetta, Clarkston, Decatur, Dunwoody, Newton).
The English Department also staffs college English classes for Dual Enrollment students in metro-Atlanta high schools and staffs online courses for instructors experienced in online teaching. |

Required Education |
To qualify to teach
ENGLISH, applicants must have:
A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline. |
Preferred Qualifications/Experience |
Teaching experience is preferred.
Online teaching experience is preferred. |
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
* Ability to teach English at the collegiate level.
* Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning.
* Effective communication skills needed.
* Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology is required. |
