Capital Management Specialist Lead
The Capital Management Specialist lead role is heavily involved in the preparation of the Capital-related sections of Comerica's annual Capital Plan, as well preparation of materials for the Capital Management Committee ("CMC"), and the monthly capital forecasting process.

Position Responsibilities:
- Prepares analysis and presentation materials for Comerica Incorporated Board of Directors, Comerica Bank Board of Directors, executive level committees, and regulators as needed, including peer analysis.
- Assists senior analyst with forecasting current and future position of Parent Company Cash and Bank Dividend capacity; monitors daily cash.
- Assists senior department members with maintaining appropriate audit and controls, including secondary reviews.
- Involved with reporting daily share repurchases and BOLI/COLI matters as required and performs ad-hoc analysis as required by senior management.
- Reading and interpreting regulation & formulating calculations.
Capital Forecasting Model
- Runs the capital model on a regular basis including inputting actual results into the model.
- Assists senior analyst with model enhancements, maintenance, and documentation as needed.
Capital Plan & Stress Testing
- Able to run the capital model for the Capital Plan scenarios.
- Prepares supporting materials and analysis for the annual capital plan.
- Produce specific materials for presentations to CMC, Comerica's Board, and regulators.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or similar
- 5 years of relevant experience with capital forecasting, regulatory reporting, Bank financial analysis or Bank FP&A
- 5 years of experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced level Excel skills; proficient with other Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of S&P Global Markets Intelligence, Workiva, Workday, and other applications or ability to learn quickly
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager. This position is currently located in Dallas however, the position will relocate to Frisco.
