MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist performs MRI scans to assist in the diagnoses of various diseases, ailments and injuries while providing excellent patient care.

This is a full-time MRI Technologist opportunity based at our Eagan Campus, with flexibility to float to other Summit sites as needed. Monday - Friday schedule of 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. This position will also include one Saturday shift every two months, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (schedule subject to change).

Eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus

• Review MRI screening form to ensure MRI safety of patient and prepare them to safely have their exam.
• Positions patients and perform exam as requested by physicians.
• Perform MRI following established procedures and protocols for patient care, safety, and quality.
• Review images to ensure image quality and communicate with CDI to ensure timely and accurate exam dictations.
• Document and charge MRI exams appropriately.
• Performs quality control checks to assure MRI equipment meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies.
• Cleans and maintains MRI equipment, work area, and department to ensure infection control and cleanliness.
• Facilitate good communication with co-workers and throughout the organization.
• Maintains supplies and orders as necessary.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Summit's hiring range for this position is $35.1582 to $43.9478 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
