ABOUT THE JOB

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Construction Intern, you will have exposure to a variety of construction management areas and have the opportunity to work in these areas based on your skills and interests. You will be working in an incredibly fast-moving business and will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions.

The Tepa Companies 2025 Intern Program is a paid opportunity for the duration of 10-12 weeks. Depending on your workload and school schedule, the work schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week in the office location.

Job Functions:

  • Assisting with field execution support of construction projects.
  • Assisting with estimating, scheduling, developing bid packages, issuing RFI's, and coordination of submittals.
  • Observing and supervising construction activities.
  • Assisting with project close-out activities.
  • Learn about the Support of our Field Staff.
  • Interacting with design professionals and construction management teams.
  • Assisting with tracking and forecasting project budgets.
  • Assisting with safety enforcement.
  • Organizing and attending project meetings.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or another related field from an accredited program. Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
