Savannah R&D Co-Op Summer 2025

At Kraton, we make a Positive Difference, and we are looking for individuals who are also looking to make a difference in their jobs, for our customers and to the world. We are looking to hire a Co-op for our state of the art lab in Savannah, Georgia.

The R&D Co-op position exists as a developmental support position for our research and development teams. The position will be involved in day-to-day processes and also will be responsible for completing 1-2 larger, long-term projects which will be defined at the beginning of the co-op rotation. Co-ops will be targeted at the sophomore and junior levels and will complete 2-3 rotations within the Company's R&D teams.

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:

• Define and complete 1-2 large projects within the rotation period.
• Gain knowledge of the Company's operations and provide technical support as needed.
• Create and deliver end of semester presentation/report to senior management and executive leadership.

• Keen focus on personal and physical safety.

• Clear interest in polymer or chemical manufacturing engineering as a field of study and profession.
• Must evidence effective business communication skills, (oral, written, instructional, and presentation).
• Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Able to work off hours if needed/necessary.

• Students seeking Bachelor's degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemistry.
• A current undergraduate or graduate-level student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering or related technical field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
