Description
1st Shift Under the supervision of the Area Manager, is responsible for the proper training and safe, timely, and efficient operation of the Presses. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Training and experience: High school diploma or the equivalent. Must have experience as a production associate. Also, must watch all Press Operator training video series and pass Press Operators Training Class. Must also have die set training. MAJOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor. Employee must be able to exert up to 25 pounds of force often and up to 65 pounds of force occasionally. WORKING CONDITIONS: Employee will work in a stamping plant. Hazards may result from loud noises from operating equipment, physical dangers associated with moving equipment and machine parts, breathing of fumes and dust, and skin exposure to oils and other fluids.
