This position will support our Trachte facility in Madison, WI. As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.
- Prepares clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from project specifications, rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties. Makes final drawing packet based on Trachte job specifications.
- Ensures uniformity of design standards within dimensions, scaling text and proper computer assisted drafting (CAD) operations.
- Makes any adjustments or changes necessary or desired by the customer or Project Manager.
- Uses CAD equipment and software (Solidworks).
- Maintain job log and historical references.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to work on-site 3 days a week in our Madison, WI office.
- Design - Translates concepts and information into images, uses feedback to modify designs, Applies Trachte design principles.
