In the role of Senior Transportation Specialist, we'll count on you to: Design tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures Quality Control review of plans, specifications, and estimates Review of design drawings and construction documents through the use of computer aided design Preparation of design and quantity calculations Preparation of specifications and contract documents Other duties as assigned by the supervising engineer Coordination with other disciplines as necessary Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering Preference given to local candidates Required Qualifications Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported Extensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments Proficient with Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
