POSITION SUMMARY



  • Responsible for developing, coordinating and presenting training for the Corporate location and all plant locations, as appropriate and organizational leadership/management development support.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Manage the corporate training element within the prescribed MOS measurables and budget allowances
  • Facilitate the development of annual training plans with the corporate managers
  • Facilitate the securing of outside funding for corporate and plant training initiatives
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with outside training providers
  • Develop and present professional development and manufacturing related training and curriculum
  • Assist in the coordination of outside vendor training events
  • Plan and coordinate training in new technologies
  • Support the development and refinement of plant apprenticeship programs
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of plant training activities
  • Facilitate annual training on goal setting and the annual appraisal process
  • Participate in the onboarding process of corporate office location employees
  • Develop and facilitate leadership training curriculum
  • Assist with organizational development activities, i.e., performance management and Cl initiatives
  • Perform other essential functions as assigned


JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Four year degree in Business, Human Resources or Education is required; Masters degree preferred
  • Five years practical experience in Training/Manufacturing
  • Training and presentation experience necessary


SPECIAL SKILLS



  • Computer literate
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills


WORKING CONDITIONS



  • Normal office environment
  • Normal shop environment, which includes travel to plant sites; use of personal protection equipment; hazards and conditions typically associated with a manufacturing environment.
