POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Payroll Supervisor, is responsible for preparing payroll in a multi-entity, multi-state environment, along with other confidential financial matters.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Prepare weekly & bi-weekly payrolls for multiple entities, in various states.

    • Includes reconciling federal, state, & local tax payments, child support, garnishments, 401(k) payments, and the associated cash transfers.


  • Maintain payroll spreadsheets/reports on a regular basis as required.
  • Serve as a complete payroll backup for all company locations as required.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements.
  • Type manual checks as required.
  • Miscellaneous data entry, accounting assistance as needed.

    • Including, but not limited to expense reporting database information entry.


  • Performs secretarial/clerical/administrative work as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Corporate Controller/Payroll Supervisor.


JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Training and Experience: Preferred High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 Years payroll processing experience with payroll tax knowledge (multi-state environment preferred).
