Description & Requirements Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a Patent Agent to join the Mechanical Team of the Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group in Atlanta. Candidates will have 3 or more years of patent prosecution experience, including application drafting. Candidates will have a degree in mechanical engineering or similar field. Knowledge and experience with other forms of intellectual property are a plus. International experience and IP litigation support are also desirable. Responsibilities: Study and analyze scientific or technical documents Draft patent applications Assist with the prosecution of patent applications before the USPTO Qualifications: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree Excellent academic credentials Excellent writing and research abilities are a must, as well as proficiency in written and verbal communications Team oriented Womble Bond Dickinson is committed to leadership in attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse workforce of highly talented professionals.
