Job Summary

Assists in maintaining a database of reports of discrimination, sexual and/or gender-based harassment, misconduct, ADA, reasonable accommodation, and others. Develop reports, assess trends, and identify areas of concerns across the University.

  • Provides support to University Administrators, managers, and supervisors in the areas of civil rights compliance, equal opportunity, and case management.
  • Supports and assists the university in responding to external complaints, including assisting with the preparation of position statements and verified responses and participating in fact-finding proceedings before external agencies that enforce Federal and State discrimination laws.
  • Promotes University-wide compliance with State and Federal laws pertaining to disability accommodations and pregnancy provisions.
  • Collaborates with other University constituencies that include but are not limited to: University Police, General Counsel, Student and Academic Affairs, Human Resources, Faculty, Students, and Administration, for consultation and investigation purposes as necessary.
  • Keeps up to date with best practices in ADA, accommodations, and training.
  • Contacts involved parties and advisors and effectively communicate information and updates concerning the investigation and resolution process; may provide support in interviews of parties and potential witnesses.
  • Maintains physical and electronic files in accordance with established retention periods. Provides records in response to internal and external data requests and public records inquiries.
  • Monitors case progress for complaints and investigations related to sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, discrimination, and differential treatment to ensure timely completeness in accordance with established University timelines.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of case management, civil rights administration, investigative, higher education, legal or regulatory compliance, and/or statistical analysis or related experience.
Desired Qualifications

  • Customer service experience.
  • ADA Accommodation experience.
  • Intake documentation experience.
